Ministries of our Church

We offer a very clean and well staffed nursery for your children ages 0-2. Our nurseries are very convenient and close to the auditorium for you and we use a pager system in case we ever need to get a hold of you. 

 Our Children’s Church Program is for kids aged 5-11.  We have very dedicated workers who love children and have many years of experience.  Each session the kids are led in prayer, sing songs of faith, and learn exciting stories from the Bible.  It is a goal of this ministry to help children grow in their faith and prepare them to be active members, and leaders, in the future of the church. 

 Children are the hope of any church’s future, but children need to be trained, and taught, good biblical principles and need to be discipled. The Master Clubs program does just that and more. It is a program designed like Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts but has a good Bible foundation to it. Master Clubs teaches children how to study the Bible, learn books of the Bible, give their salvation testimony, memorize Bible verses, and also some hands on skills such as building camp fires and basic first aid. Many churches look to Bible colleges when they want to hire someone on for a staff member, which is not a bad thing, but Master Clubs can train the children in your own church to be the church leaders they need to be when the opportunity presents itself. 

TORCH (Taking Our Relationship with Christ Higher) At Gospel Light Baptist Church we have a thriving and growing youth group. We average from 25 to 35 teens every Wednesday night. We have a time of fun and games with them, but youth group should not be centered around games, rather it should be centered around God. Your teenager will always receive a Bible lesson geared for them when they come to church. Our youth group is not the church of tomorrow they are the church of today. Many of our teens actively serve in our church and I believe it is because of the teaching they receive in youth group.

 Our church buses run every Sunday to bring people to Sunday School and Church. The bus  ministry is a tremendous soul winning tool for Gospel Light Baptist Church. Each week boys,  girls, men, and women are picked up at their homes and brought to the church. When they  arrive, they are divided into graded classes and are presented with sound Bible teaching and preaching.
